    Kids ages 1-18 can eat at various locations throughout the Auburn School District from June 29 through August 21 (closed July 3).  It is not necessary to qualify for the Summer Meals for Kids.  For more information visit www.auburn.wednet.edu/cns.

    Auburn High School's Madeline Bratsch, Auburn Riverside's Summer Ramirez and Auburn Mountainview's Kyla Klasen were among 90 recipients of the Comcast Foundation's annual Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program awards.

  • Sports Medicine Winners

    Auburn Mountainview High School sports medicine students placed first in the U.S. in National High School Sports Medicine Competition Championships last month. Auburn High School students placed fifth in the country in the same competition.

  • Beat the Wrecking Ball

    Lydig Construction will begin the process of removing the Auburn High School gymnasium floor from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., June 27. The community is invited to come see the work of the contractor. Souvenir pieces of the gym floor will be available for purchase to support the Auburn Public Schools Foundation (APSF).

  • Muckleshoot Presentation for Auburn Administrators

    Retiring Auburn School District administrators Kip Herren and Tim Cummings were surprised at the recent Native American promotion and graduation ceremony with gifts from the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. Virginia Cross, tribal chair, presented each of them with an honor blanket and beaded eagle feather to thank them for their service to Muckleshoot children during their long careers in the ASD.

    The Auburn School District Board of Directors will recognize Cameron Fairchild, a senior at Auburn Riverside High School, for being an outstanding student at 7 p.m., Monday in the James P. Fugate Administration building.

    At the board meeting last night, the Auburn School District Board of Directors unanimously voted for Dr. Alan Spicciati as the new superintendent to replace Kip Herren who is retiring June 30.
